The dog was admitted and placed in the ICU unit yesterday. Today he is on the surgical floor. They still need to do more testing before they are sure he will have his tumorous spleen removed.

So the new meds are causing my love to have severe nausea - like 20+ days of 24/7 nausea, even with 3 medications for nausea. The vomiting stopped after a week, but the nausea persists. When does it get better?! He asks why he is taking medicine that makes him feel worse than before he was on the retrovirals. He takes 3 meds to counteract nausea of 2 meds. I have been so busy with my own illnesses but now my baby Winter is sick once again. He is getting so old and it seems like this is happening more and more, closer and closer and I am just like a dirty dishrag. I have been at the Vet three times in the last 4 days. Just a quick update to let you all know that I am still caring for my baby boy Winter. He is still very sick and I am still a train wreck. I don't get much support from DL so I am pretty much on my own with Winter and myself. I took him to the Doc yesterday and he is now on a third medication. Mondays. I hate them. Last week on Monday..I had the melt down..and last night..the following Monday..my husky died suddenly and unexpectedly! In my hands, I held her head..petting her..when I heard her yelp like she was in pain outside my bedroom door. It was closed..because I was changing.
