Well i just got my lab results now that ive been taking the medication.. And here it is

Before:
Viral Load: 457
CD4 count: 548

After:
Viral Load: Undetected
CD4 count: 863

For the month and a half ive been taking the medication i went up 40% CD4 and my viral dropped to near none. The side effects were killer for a little while but when you get this kind of news it makes it worth it. I just wanted to share with everyone my new lab results :)
And the medication im on is Atripla.. Wish everyone a good week

" That's great news. Thanks for letting us know. Have the side effects mostly gone away now? Was it mostly the wild dreams, or were there other things too? "

" That is great news.

I have been taking Atripla for almost two years and have been undected with the exception of a blood test last December. After repeating the blood tests I was back to undetected in January 09 and stayed that way for all the other blood results this year. "

" That's what happened with me when I first took the Atripla. All my counts dropped to undetectable. I had a "blip" when I changed my meds, however, dr. not too worried about it as she said that it was normal to have the fluctuation. Also have been told to be prepared for a roller coster as at time you will be detectable and then it will return to being undetectable---just the way the virus works in the body as it is always fighting the meds. Also want to mention that just because you are having sex with another poz person doesn't mean you can have unprotected sex as dr explained to me that there are so many different variations of the virus that unprotected sex could cause the virus to mutate and then the meds you are taking stop working. "
