Every case of human health (and animal health for that matter) is unique. The science of medicine requires us to look at statistics, to learn for example that people who smoke cigarettes are x% more likely to develop lung cancer than those who do not smoke. But for any individual, the game is essentially random. Most smokers do not get lung cancer and some people who never smoke get it.
The same applies to Kaposis sarcoma. This type of cancer is said to be "caused by" the HHV6 virus, but many people infected with HHV6 never get a lesion. Immune deficiency increases the odds that a person who carries HHV6 will get a lesion, but some people with normal immune function can still experience the problem. I am not an expert on HHV6 and KS, so I am not sure if having one KS lesion means that you are at risk for having more of them. For all types of cancer, early detection and removal of the cancerous tissue is a key part of fighting it. It is never a good idea to "just wait and see what happens".
