" THe flulike symptoms, for my anway, lasted until I got the right medicine in me!!!

I don't think I've ever been constipated, though. It's always been EXACTLY OPPOSITE, if you know what I mean. "

" I think "seroconversion" is just about a personal thing. Meaning, everyone is different, no set emperical symptoms for everyone. DoorMatt said it best, if you are positive and your CD4/5's are such that it is recommended by your ID Dr. to start meds, follow thier advice. For me, all my crap started three years ago being extremely exhausted, and had MRSA infections popping up on legs, with profuse sweating at night, mainly from head--soaked pillow. No constipation, and would GLADLY take constipation to the EXACT opposite, as I have had GI issues now for 41/2 months, and I am now undetectable with very high CD4's.....one can still be symptomatic in many respects, as I am with Neuropathy and GI issues and continued sweating----it all really depends on what strain(s) of HIV you may have acquired. My Dr. says just about everyone newly infected has a resistant strain now, reason having a Genotype to determine what strain and what meds will work for you is so important. Hope this helped.
Peace,
Robert "
