Hi guys!
Something weird just happened to me. I only chew Spry gum, as aspartame makes me feel very wired or racy. I think most of us can't tolerate it well. I had put some teeth whitener on my teeth(an Avon one, brush on) and started to feel like almost hyper(I am on meds and mostly hypo) I said"wait a minute!" and ran to see the ingredients on the small bottle. It read phenyllaline, I knew that sounded not good so I went online and found this, no wonder Elaine says to avoid it. I once chewed regular juicy fruit and had the same feeling only to find out it had aspartame in it too! Watch for those triggers! (Gonna go brush my teeth now) http://www.sweetpoison.com/phenyla... Hi Brans,
Yes! I had the same thing happen to me with a tooth whitener that had aspertame in there. I didn't think I could possibly get a large enough dose to notice, but it was. I stopped using it, too.

Hi brans:
I have to check every toothpaste before I buy it before using it. I have the exact same problem too. I can handle Tom's of Maine, Claybrite, Spry, Periocleanse, and Nara. Everything else I can have problems with. {{{hugs}}} :-)
