While I believe in alternative healing, it seems a little dangerous to attempt to cure it without Anti-thyroid medication.

Plus! I thought there was no cure? Only possible remission?

" Hi:

Yes, a few years ago I downloaded to get the free materia/booklet from another person. It's along the lines of the similar things I talk about here on the board. Such as:

Avoid certain foods and triggers, avoid excess Iodine, get the 'right' labs done including the antibodies tests, etc. I still include the ATD therapy as well as alternatives such as Lemon Balm, Bugleweed, etc. to help lower down the antibodies if the person wishes to go down this way. I used these herbs, myself at the beginning of the GD journey until my antibodes got up too high and I had to use the ATDs instead.

{{{hugs}}} :-) "

" Sometimes Graves can go into remission by itself without any meds, this DOES happen, but most people have to do the meds to bring the levels down,or it can be dangerous.I think if you do all the things you can to help it naturally, that will help with remission but certainly not "cure" it. "
