" This is a multivitamin brand from Mannatech which contains Iodine and requires one to become a member to get this vitamin. I used to take a similar multivitamin from this company when my son was a member. It contained Soy which was not good for me.

I suggest you look at the brands such as Pure Encapsulations, Thorne, as well as the one from Nature's Life as some of their multis are without Iodine.

Nature's Life might be a better choice for you as it has a multi which is both Iodine and Iron-free and is cheaper on the budget. The other two brands requires buying from such website:

www.drvita.com

which is run by a holistic doctor as these multis are like from the high end brands which only a person with a medical or holistic background may obtain these.

" thinks mm, yes this cotains iron and iodine and it does have soy, so with what you said, looks like im gonna stir away from this product and look into others. thanks for all the info, so they did do a scan not long ago and showed of course the rai had shrunk my thyroid so small they could barely find it with that being said, even without a thyroid, Does one still really have to watch out for Iodine forever????? Im thinking , YES......... "

" In some cases yes on the Iodine. It really depends on the individual who has gotten an RAI. There was this one gal who got an RAI done maybe something like nearly 10 years and she is still suffering and needing to avoid certain thyroid triggers.
