Ok quick guys I need some help. Our friends invited us over tonight for seafood (crab legs) and clam chowder. Is it ok to eat this? What will happen if I do?

FYI Just started on tapzole and taking a beta blocker.

" I would not recommend eating this if you are Hyper. Alert your hostess so she won't be offended. Maybe you can eat before you go or take a dish you can eat and share . That is if it is ok with the hostess. "

Marpo is correct. It's on the no no list of foods for many with GD and/or other thyroid problems to avoid as it contains Iodine, Mercury and other contanmenents.

" Hi! I ate crab legs and crayfish last Sat. night and Sunday I was VERY ill..... toxic to my body. Took me 2 days to recover.
I would hold off the iodine is so high in shell fish. Just not worht another day of feeling ill.
