How long do I have to be on Beta-Blockers?

I have to admit that I am starting to feel better most days. However I also admit that taking ptu 3x's a day + the Beta-Blockers is becoming tiresome.
So when will my Endo decide to start weaning me from the Beta-Blockers? Are they a lifetime (- a possible remission) like the anti-thyroid medication or will I eventually get off of them? I don't see the Endo until September because my Free t-4 was in the normal range and believed I could go 3 months without seeing him. Posted on 06/30/09, 08:06 pm |

I'm on my way down weaning off of the beta blocker since my last thyroid labs showed me heading hypO. I've also whittled down the MMI as well. My next labs are going to be in eight weeks from the last labs and I will see the Doc too.
Figure out where you feel best within the range now.
