Inspire -To guide or control by divine influence. To rise and bring about. Imbued with the spirit. "Inspirit" I find this to be a very powerful word...the definition of the word, alone Inspires me.  It goes to show how powerful words are and how we need to choose our words carefully! Do something kind for someone...say a kind word and it will inspire others to do the same. Go...

  • Always so right.....

Monday, July 21, 2008 | An Inspiring story

One of my favorite authors is Paulo Coelho.  Whenever I read his work, it touches me so deeply, because it always applies to what is going on in my life at that time.  The morning after my mom died, I picked up his book WARRIOR OF THE LIGHT: A MANUAL, randomly flipped through it and found a passage that gave me a moment's peace within my grief.  A passage so profound that I rea...

him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit and his ancient one ton
    truck refused to start.
While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence.
    On arriving, he invi...

Wednesday, September 17, 2008 | An Inspiring story

    Dear Scott,
We have been divorced since 1994. Since then you have not helped me raise the boys. You have not been there for them and you have lied to them repeatedly. You have allowed your wife to yell at them for calling you, when it should be you calling them. I want to let you know that I feel so disappointed in you. You and I are supposed to be a role model for our kids, and you have NOT ...

Today I was doing rounds at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. It is common to have many folks hanging out in the waiting rooms outside of the surgical ICU waiting for the "5 ...

Tuesday, September 29, 2009 | An Inspiring story
