And it felt good!

I gave the house a thorough cleaning, my husband and I went to dinner and finally bought a new gas range (our old oven died). We went in the pool alone for the first time since we got it (well, our dog jumped in, too. Does that count? HAHAHA). And we sat on the deck and actually had a conversation without a kid interrupting us!!!!

They'll be home in about an hour, and I wish I had another week, but I'm grateful for the first weekend in seven years without kids. I'm actually glad we didn't have more time alone, because I know I would've gotten used to it. LOL

I'm betting with my husband that my nice neat, clean house will be trashed in 15 minutes. He says it'll take less time than that. HAHAHA

" sounds wonderful and having a huppy to share it with makes it all so much better. We have been running for weeks plan to rest this week with cleaning, some sewing, reading and the packing on Thur. Me and all 5 of the grands are hitting the road for Daytona Beach our first together since all our lives was turned upside down. We are all excited and i am alittle nervious being the only adult with a l8, twin 16 a 8 and a 6 year old. But we are gooing to a time share I have had for about 28 yrs and we know a lot of the folks that go ever yr and we all look out for each other keep us in your prayers So glad to have yall in my life "
