I'm not sure what to do...my DD has not been showing up on time in the morning to take the GKids to school by which this is making me late for work. I have called to see about changing my GS5 to the school in my school zone but his bus would run by my house at 7:20am and I have to meet the head start bus for my GD4 at 7:20am - how am I suppose to be in two places at one time? I asked about dropping my GS5 off at his school and they don't take in until 7:50am - I'm suppose to be at work no later then 8:15am and it takes me at least 45 minutes to drive. I can't afford daycare now that my hours have been cut and can't afford to lose my job either. Next year will be so much easier because they will be in the same school but the school by my house doesn't have a PreK program... I'm so upset with my DD! I do not want to argue with her every morning so I'm trying to figure this out with out her since she isn't dependable. Any ideas or advice?

" In our township, a child can catch the school bus from a neighbor's as long as arrangements have been made in advance. They can also be dropped off at the same neighbor's house. Maybe you could look into that? Then, all you'd have to do is take your grandchild to the neighbor's before you have to leave... "

" If you hours have been cut, perhaps you can apply for TANF funds? They also can help with daycare. Also, what about before and after school programs? they are usually inexpensive and you can drop them off early....they may even get breakfast. If you already are working with headstart they may be able to help you on this too. "
