Baking Soda

I just joined the list. I thought I had mine under control -- it started last October and was really bad in November -- could hardly walk. Got over it and thought I had it beat for a couple weeks. Now it is back again for at least two months -- tolerable ... I can walk, but quite inconvenient. Plus over the past week or so I have been aching all over and feel like it might be related. The med the doc prescribed has quite dangerous sides so once I used them up I did not renew the prescription. Been doing some research on home remedies tonight and stumbled on baking soda. I figured it was easy enough and not that dangerous in low doses. I am thinking of a level teaspoon in a glass of water first and last thing for starts. I was wondering if anyone else has tried this. I will keep you up on it.

" I also heard about baking soda. It is horrible tasting though and if you have high blood pressure as I do, it really isn't such a good idea. "

" There's no scientific evidence baking soda helps. Some people have tried it and swear by it, some say it didn't make any difference. On the plus side it helps prevent indigestion. "
