LASER SURGERY

I was diagnosed with glaucoma about 4 years ago, and was using xlatan every night for the eye pressure.
I recently switched doctors, and am so happy I did!! He did laser surgery on both eyes to open the drainage that allows the fluid to flow out of the eye. No more eye drops!!!! He told me this can last for 5-10 years. Ask your doctors about it. It was painless and took about 10 minutes for each eye. No prep, and was able to drive myself. My pressures have dropped from the mid 20's to 16 and 18. Not bad for i month post surgery. I would recommend this to any of you. I am glad I could share this Posted on 09/02/08, 10:09 am |
