I was just diagnosed with Glaucoma and being treated by an Optometrist. Should I really be seeing a Optamolagist? The many visits required are not covered by Medicare for a Optometrist and could be for a Optamolagist. I'd appreciate any help in dealing with the high cost involved. Thank you.

" I really think you shoud be treated by an optamologist. They are better trained for treating your eyes. With Medicare paying for them and not the optometrist should be a signal that they think the same thing. Glaucoma can be costly, the eye drops alone are costly. Good luck to you and I hope I have helped you some. hugs sandy "
