And I'm alone again. It sucks!

However, went to a new medical doctor yesterday that kinda shocked/amazed me. We sat and talked for about 30 minutes about my situation/life (not like the usual 7 minutes face time I usually get). After a brief exam- just the basics- we talked again for another 20 minutes. He prescribed Xanax & Buspar for the anxiety/stress that I constantly feel. I got the scripts and within an hour I was FINALLY starting to feel normal again. As the day progressed, I only felt better and finally had the best nights sleep in years. I'm looking forward to even better results. He was not covered by my insurance but his flat office fee was $75US- not my more than the co-pay charged my regular MD- was money well spent.

There are alot of doctors out there that refuse to fall into the trap of insurance/pharmaceutical doctrine and actually treat their patients.

" Happy Birthday Greg!!!

That's great to know there ARE still caring doctors left in this world. I feel the same way about my ID doctor. She's great.
Again, congrats on getting your anxiety/stress under control, it makes life a whole lot easier to deal with! Take care of yourself and I hope your day is good to you. Hugs, T "

" Update-
A heartfelt thank you all for the birthday wishes.
The Xanax & Buspar are going great. I'm finally able to get out and enjoy things without all of the anxiety & stress. I'm on just the minimum dosage of each but that's all it took to knock this out. I'm finding it hard to express the joy and relief of being able to be out and experience the world again after three years of hell.

Thank you all for your support!

Greg "
