depends on who your talking to I guess, I think I am too fem and oh so obvious BUT I have people tell me "wow I had NO idea" and I think jjjjeeeeezzzz are you blind and deaf?.......................lol

I've read, but I can't remember where; perception is bouncing our consciousness off of somebody else; we learn about ourselves through the eyes of others. With that in mind, I directly asked a friend once this question of butch/fem. The ridiculous response: "Well, i wouldn't know you were gay until you opened your mouth. You use the word 'dreadful' too much!!" WTF?
Yeah, well, it is a word and people from England use it all the time!! they're not all gay--well, maybe most of them are :)).

I never went back and asked the bullies from eighth grade how they knew before I did, but i assume it is assumed. I imagine I am in the middle (never thought I would write THAT about me!).

I would fall on the butch side strictly because of my size and build. Not that I am a Nelly Nancy, but I am in touch with my feminine side!

oh lordy loo. I **wish** I were butch... I don't flounce, but I can't imagine how someone could talk to me for more than five minutes and not figure it out. I have done butch things in my life (I think), but generally I don't think I have the testosterone level to really pull it off convincingly. I get the giggles and it sort of ruins the effect.

Well I do hair and strangers do a double take when I tell them I'm a hairstylist, I'm 6'2" and I act pretty "butch" but I do have some fem character traits... especially when it comes to cleanliness.

me and the bf are butch i guess..but gezz get on a subject that tickles our fancy-be flip wrist with the best lol. But when I told all my friends and family i was gay they didnt believe me. They all said I didnt act like it-i was like " I HAVE SEX WITH GUYS" lol what else do i have to do ^_^ i love men

Both my man and I are butch. If I wanted to date a women, I wouldn't be dating a man.

Nothing's ever black and white for me. M y personality has so many shades of gray so it'd be in the middle but leaning more on feminine. A guy once told me I act more like a guy but think like a woman....so he says whenever he talks to me it's not like talking to an average gay guy. He has to picture me as a butch woman lol.
