Haha, me too! I used to work in a predominantly gay neighborhood, so a lot of my customers were gay guys and I ADORED them. They were always really easy to joke around with and all. I think it's because they're not a threat to us girls. They're interested in gay men, we're interested in straight men or gay girls. So they're not a potential date OR competition, and I think that subconsciously, we're comforted by that fact. :)

i figured out another reason. i think it takes a certain softness to love another guy, instead of being a macho man to a girl. it's romantic. (and hot as hell, but that's not the point.) yeah. it's like a side of a guy that SHOULD be there the whole time (certain lack of arrogance) but is only apparent in gay guys. idk, i just love it!!
