So i watched a lecture on youtube where i guy was talking about the book of "whoever he was" and there it says that homossexuality is immoral, wrong and a sin. But then he said he asked a priest about that and he quoted that in that case slavery was permited and divorce is a sin punishable by death. And the priest said that he was taking things out of context.

its not a sin and it will never be to love someone! to me its a sin to be unnexcepting and not treat people well :)

i just let my life go because of that book. that stupid book...shes a strong christian. she believes in the heaven/hell thing so i didnt want her to suffer for what we were doing. i cant believe i did that...i dont know what to do...

btw, im the girlfriend, er ex, of the girl who posted above this. im a strong christian, but i dont believ that ill go to hell for loving her. God's a god of love, right? i think he givs us those rules to try to protect us...but i still love her...we just gave all of that up, but what does it change? idk. i just dont know. i just believ that if Gods the guy who sees the big picture, and he says thers a reason we shuldnt...we shuld respect him and not do it...but at the same time, i can't stop loving her. thats like asking an icecream cone not to melt wen its warm.

I dont beleive in the bible..when i was boarding the peeps told me to walk the streets if i didnt go to church..thats bribery and an insult..it put me off ALL things religious in every way...i dont interfere if you want to beleive but just my cents worth.

╠╣╠║║║║ ║ ║║╚╚╚╚╝ O I am so so so so conflicted about this whole God thing. But I've finally decided that God is anti organized religion. God is faith. God is love. God is grace and compassion and forgiveness and abundant mercy. Religion is the very antithesis of these principles. Religion is control. Religion is greed. Religion is judgment. Religion is the murder of the human spirit by man-made design. "Yes, in the name of God let us..." Those words have been used all too often to kill. Sanctioned by the church, of course. As for bibles... they were written and inspired by fallible man. The face that they stuck to the same story for 2,000 years is amazing, yes. But when you tell a lie long enough it becomes the truth. And as for the truth...I believe the bible's truth can be found somewhere in the ashes. For doctrine, in my mind is a man-made bullet in which to control and persecute and kill. Ask Giordano Bruno (1548 – 1600) or Jeanne d'Arc (1412-1431).
