I sometimes do wish I was straight, it would make things a whole lot less confusing, but over all I really like who I am. I know that I am a glorious person, and people will just have to learn to live with it. But, I do wonder where I would be right now if I had liked girls.

I have to agree with confused. I would like to be straight sometimes. Cause it's so hard to find a lesbian. All the ones where i live are taken and like really guyish... which isn't what i'm lookin for (not saying guyish is bad they have the baggy pants and all etc) I'm more tomboyish... and i mean theres probably been two people so far that i have Really liked. One is straight as a board and has a boyfriend... and it just kind of sucks....sometimes i hate being alone

well, for the societal aspect, yeah, but lord knows how I veiw the horrors of straight sex so I like being gay. Besides, I'm not a dominant person so to be with a girl would force me to have a dominant personality.

personally i never really cared about it, probably cause im so absent minded. it just makes me a lil down to have to go against not only the world (just like everybody else) but against family aswell
still, wishing to be someone ur not is just as pretending to be straight when u kno ur not, harms u and cause u feel pain so will others feel ur pain, at least in a way

I don't think I wish I was... I only came out like a month ago so my opinion might change but right now I'm really liking the pros of being a lesbian. Me and my current girlfriend were best friends for 2 years and once we realized that it was more that "we are just really close friends" I've realized how much I like having a best friend as a lover...
I've also feel more comfortable with who I am... and that is something that I wouldn't change even when I have to deal with people that just don't understand.

Yes and no for me. I mean i like being gay (well bi) but i wish i didnt have to worry about people finding out.(i havent came out yet.)
