I tried to come out to my mom when I was 10. I knew, deep down, when I was having sleepovers with Matt and Adam that I want to caress their skin and feel close to them while they slept. That was anything but normal. I tried telling her...it sounded some thing like this.
"Mom, I like Matt."
"That's nice, honey," she said.
"No I like like him."
"Well, invite him to your birthday party," she said, "Go play."

Now, I don't think mom ever believed me.

Then when I was twelve I awoke to being kissed and kissing Adam. He held me. I knew for sure then when he hugged me that I felt comfortable. I came out to mom again. She laughed at me with Aunt Gail. They teased me. She said bullshit. I ran to my room and bawled. Mom's dead now. She'll never know I am happy.

I'm always coming out. I came out this week. Ms. Cairn asked me if my fashion sense was a little heightened. I said: "Its called the HOMO SENSE, Ms. Cairn." She blushed and told me that Jesus would deliver me if I asked him. He delivered me alright...straight to the Abercrombie & Fitch catalog. OMG! Have you seen it?

My roommate woke me up a few minutes ago. He asked if he could sleep with me. Max is hot. I'm not sure if he is gay or not but I told him I think I am and he said cool and good night and closed his eyes to sleep. He wears X-Man pajamas. And I know sometimes he has boners under them. This is the third time we've slept in my bed. I'm having trouble sleeping now. All I want to do is kiss him. His breath smells so like sugar and his underarms have a sweet sweaty smell. I love it when he doesn't take his showers at night. He's warm. And he's in my bed. Is it a sin to sleep with a boy you know you want to make out with? When he turned over and his back was uncovered to touched him. He has the most beautiful hairs on his back. They are white and start from his head like a river of soft clouds. I traced them with my finger and he woke up. Max looked at me. I got that tickle in my stomach and that fear in my chest. We stared at each other for a few seconds. Then Max reached to me and took off my shirt and pulled me close. He kissed my neck. I cried. And he held me close. He scratched my back and followed my hairs. He had a boner again.

I don't know who I will have to come out to tomorrow. Mr. Riley saw my Abercrombie & Fitch catalog. He said he likes the art. Mr. Riley is my new gym and photography teacher and he runs the Yearbook staff too. Maybe I'll come out to him tomorrow just for shock value. I'll do my Z-formation. I know, I'll wear my red heart boxer by Abercrombie & Fitch, size 14 with attitude. I have a nice butt.
