I was best friends with a girl a year and a half ago, and i started having feelings for her. At that point, i wasn't out yet, so i put the feelings off as her being my friend. But the longer we were friends, the bigger the feelings got. And when i finally realized i loved her, she stopped being my friend! Now she barely talks to me or notices me at all.
I finally accepted the fact that i'm Bi-sexual about a year ago. And now she's what i think about when i wake up, and when i got to sleep.. i see her at school and she ignores me.. i don't know what to do. how you get over someone you love? Posted on 08/30/12, 12:46 am |

It's never easy to get over someone, but true love is only when they love you back. If it's meant to be, it will happen. But for now if she doesn't feel the same, all you can do is go on with your life. Try to meet other bisexuals and/or gays and just people you can relate to. I understand how that feeling is, but something better does come along even if it doesn't feel that way. You deserve someone who can share those feelings and love you too.
Also, if she ignores you that is either a sign that she also has feelings, but she's scared of them, or it's because she is scared of bi/homosexuality in general. If you are really that stuck on this girl, give her more time (could be a couple years) and see if she ever comes to terms with things. She might be interested in girls and just be denying it, and if that's the case, she will come out eventually. You can't hide who you are. If not, it's just best you try and forget her and move on. That's all you can do. Hope I helped at least a little!
