Pain & gastritis

I have been reading the posts on here & appreciate the information shared. I have had irritable bowel for over 20 years so avoid acidic/spicy foods etc. I also have ms, excema, asthma, hayfever, cushings syndrome etc.
I have had bad pain in right abdomen for over 4 weeks & nothing is getting rid of it. I am not constipated as have between 2-10 bowel movements a day but apparently not emptying fully. I had a colonoscopy in January & they couldnt see clearly so had to have another one with drinking extra gunk & more laxettes. They got a clear view at least but I was tired of the toilet LOL. I also had a capsule endoscopy & again they couldnt get a clear view. I have also had ct scan & heaps of blood tests.
I guess what I am asking is about the pain, is that part of gastritis, I am on nexium for reflux.
I am confused & would appreciate any help, also any questions I should ask when I see the gastroenterologist this week - Thursday.
Thanks in advance

" If the pain is in the right abdomen, it may not be gastritis. Is your pain related to eating certain foods? Gallstones would be something to consider as your gallbladder is on your right side under/around your rib cage. Fatty/sugary foods tend to bother it. Your number of bm's per day seems high unless that's always been the norm for you. If you are having a lot of diarrhea etc, I would definitely bring that up to the doctor. Chrohn's is also something that might be a possibility that you could ask about if they haven't already checked for that. Just make sure you tell them all of your symptoms and ask all the questions you have. I find it helps to write everything down before you go so that way you don't forget anything while your're there. Good luck to you and hope you feel better! "

" Thanks for your response. I have had my gall bladder removed so its not gall stones. I will ask about crohns, I think that may be one thing they are looking at with all the blood tests etc. I have told them all the different issues, problem there is I keep seeing different gastroenterologists each time too.
The pain is not related to food as sometimes it gets worse even when I havent eaten recently.
Hope to get some answers on Thursday. "

" You might also want to have them check your appendix just to be on the safe side too. You never know. Appendicitis could show up too especially since it's on the rt side (this is where I get a lot of my pain, but my pain is mostly from Gastritis and Gastroparesis). Although it could be Chrohn's since they have been telling you for years that you have irritable bowl. I have heard that Chrohn's is just as painful as Gastritis and will cause you to be tied to the bathroom more often than not. And I have heard from a cowoker before with the disease that she had to avoid certain foods because it triggered flare ups with her Chrohn's. "
