FLATULENT FOOD LIST

Normoflatugenic Foods: Ingestion of the following foods was found to be associated with “NORMAL” levels of flatulence (19 or less passages of gas per day).

1. Meat, Fowl, and Fish

2. Vegetables-lettuce, cucumber, broccoli, peppers, avocado, cauliflower, tomatoes, asparagus, zucchini, okra, olives

3. Fruits-Cantaloupe, grapes, and berries

4. Carbohydrates-rice, corn chips, potato chips, pop corn, graham crackers

5. All nuts

6. Miscellaneous-eggs, non milk chocolate, jello, fruit ice

7. Water-probably the safest of all consumables

MODERATELY FLATUGENIC FOODS (20-40 PASSAGES OF GAS PER DAY)

1. Pastries

2. Potatoes

3. Eggplant

4. Citrus fruit or apples

5. Bread

EXTREMELY FLATUGENIC FOODS (GREATER THAN 40 PASSAGES PER DAY)
1. Milk and milk products 12. Wheat Germ
2. Onions 13. Brussel Sprouts
3. Beans
4. Celery
5. Carrots
6. Raisins
7. Bananas
8. Apricots
9. Prune juice
10. Pretzels
11. Bagels

Can someone tell me what foods we can eat???????
