i have the problem...urgh.....my pharmist...said to buy malox liquid and use it as a mouth wash in your mouth and spit out...it helps with the burning and itching for a bit....

My doctor just told me that for a lot of people - like me - who breathe through their mouth at night (due to nasal congestion or just plain habit), a dryness in the mouth causes the white film to form. I use a tongue scraper every morning to clean my tongue - it stays pink the rest of the day. Thank goodness it wasn't the Candida outbreak I had feared it was. The internet can be so confusing if you look for a diagnosis.
