Hi, everyone!
I think I need your help-for my mom. Since my mom has the gastritis for alomost ten years. And recently, she feels that her tongue is dry,and has fever,there is no saliva (especially during the nights). She hardly can go to sleep. I know she is struggling every night. It's painful. I hope I can help her. Does somebody have any idea how to treat this kind of symptom and illness? I really appreciate for any suggestion from you! Posted on 08/09/09, 12:08 am |

Have you tried ice chips for your mom? Perhaps that or gatorade sipped through a straw would work to help keep her hydrated. She almost sounds dehydrated to me. If she has a fever, perhaps try taking some tylenol and if the pain is severe enough, like she can't walk without being in intense pain, can't talk without hurting, has trouble breathing, laughing, etc then perhaps a trip to the ER might be in order so that your mom could be examined.
