I was diagnosed a couple of months ago with a severe B12 deplesion and tests showed that it was much more than that. I have "Lack of Intrisic Factor" which means my digestive system can no longer absorb B12 vitamins, so I have to regularly inject them. Unfortunately, this type of disease causes gastric cancers, which I am experiencing at this time. I cannot take medications because of the side affects they have on the digestive tract plus I have some type of internal bleeding going on in my small intestines, which is being watched but not bad enough for
surgery, yet. This has been such a total nightmare! Then your digestive tract stops absorbing other vitamins and I'm also depleted in
iron also. Gosh, trying to get stronger these days is very difficult! I'm trying to keep positive and try to do things that I'm able. Still not able to go out by myself yet. Have severe moments of weakness and I'm afraid of falling or collapsing. family has moved out of state and my friends have all but faded since my illness. Loneliness now seems to be added to my diagnosis, the reason why I decided to go online. I'm a very friendly, generally outgoing, loving person if you'd like to talk!
