My friend who has stage 3 stomach cancer is going in for surgury March 3rd (tuesday). I was wondering if anyone knows about how long she will be in the hosp? i know it prob depends on how everything goes but just curious from your expirences.

i havent been able to talk to her much, last i heard she is doing chemo but its making her very sick :( how are you?

i've had stomach cancer, and only have about 1/3 of my stomach left. you are right it will depend on how well she does. you didn't say if she is having a partial or total gastrectomy. she must have been very sick before they found the cancer. the trick is to find it early.sorry i can't be more helpful but you will know more after the surgery. big hug.

How is your friend doing? I had part of my stomach removed also, and I am going through chemo right now.... I hope that she is doing well.
