Hi Jimmy...I love your outlook! Thanks for posting!
Can I ask, what were your symptoms and how did you find out you had cancer? I have an endoscopy tomorrow. I have felt miserable for 5 months now. First they kept testing my gallbladder, found it wasn't working, took it out and then I found that my symptoms were still present. Then I went back to the doctor. She put me on prilosec and prozac for 2 weeks. (I was having anxiety and I think she honestly thought my pain was just anxiety. Uh...no, the pain was CAUSING the anxiety! duh!) My anxiety was better, but of couse my stomach pain and discomfort was just getting worse. So then she referred me back to the gastroenterologist. She marked it urgent but it still took them over a week to call me. Then they scheduled me an appt 5 weeks out. Then once I got in to see her, she scheduled me for the endoscopy 2 weeks out. After all that it's been 5 months and I'm hoping to God it's not cancer and something I could've kicked if they'd have found out 5 months earlier!!! Can you tell me what your symptoms were and everything?

Yes Jimmy... I am with you, stay posative and you can beat it.
Angiedale; Reading your answer, mades me know how luckly I was, as when I went in for a check-up the hospital told me that the gastroenterologist was on 2 weeks leave. My wife knew that there was a Surgean that did the EDG and gave them his name and demamed that they contacted him, they did, and the next day he did my scope, and he toly us, even before the bioptisy, that it was Cancer. Some 10 days latted, after he had orded more test, CScan, Pep, Xray. he removed my entire stomach, my gallbladder part of my esophagus, plus 30 Lymph Nodes ( of the 30, 23 were infected with cancer). Here I am a little over a year latter and eating almost anything I want. stay posative, laught and smile.
