Hi Everyone, I'm new to the group and am scheduled to have my RY on Tuesday the 10th at 2 P.M. Once I made up my mind to do this all the pre stuff went really fast, (about 5 weeks.) I have been too busy to think about it much but now that it is close I'm beginning to feel some anxiety. Not wanting to back out or anything like that, just normal surgery anxiety. I also feel like I no longer have a sense of what my future looks like. What will life be like when I am not food focused? I look forward to and welcome the changes but it is a strange, strange feeling to not know where all that energy I put into food is going to go. Thanks for listening. I've been stalking you guys for a few days now and love how most posts are so honest, positive and informative.

" How exciting. You'll be fine. A bit sore, but relieved it's over.

See you on the loser's bench.

" Will be thinking of you tomorrow. You're about to give yourself the best gift you've ever had! A little discomfort (possibly) is a small price to pay for the great and glorious future you have ahead! Be gentle with yourself, rest well, get your vitamins and fluids, and walk as often as you can, and I'm sure you'll do fine! Congrats on RECLAIMING YOUR LIFE!!!!

Best wishes,

Becky "
