I experienced for the VERY FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE what constipation really is!! let me tell you, IT IS NOT FUN! I have never been in so much rear end pain in my life and all i could do was pray for it to end!
I would love suggestions as to what everyone does to avoid this post surgery! I am 7 weeks post op and again, this is the first time EVER that this has happened! I am eating well, drinking well and not having any other problems! I will do just about anything for this NOT to happen again....EVER! Posted on 11/08/09, 09:11 pm |

Thank you everyone!! I am so glad to know that I am not alone out there! My husband (the sweet guy that he is) is picking up colace and benefiber on his way home from work for me! I have MOM already! so far today i still have the laxative working for me which while a great feeling to be able to "go" i'm ready to be normal again! my poor bum!

So sorry you are suffering,I am the complete opposite,I never pass anything solid,prob due to my Crohn's,but water if you can get plenty of water in it does help your bowels hun.Andrea xxx
