I'm not sure as for the rest of the gals here, but for me I have always had the skin rolls, since I was 8 years old, I've had an apron skin. So losing weight, yes my rolls have shrunk, but I still have lots of hanging belly skin. I was never smooth and then all of a sudden had all kinds of hanging skin to deal with. I think it just depends on your body makeup. So I'm am so jealous, sounds like you will be one of the luck ones to have a smoother belly. Maybe I should be brave too, and take a picture of my belly area and post it.

I still see myself as 344 lbs all the time. I still feel people in my "space" if they are too close, but really they arn't too close. I still feel like I am going to knock things over, or bump into things, so its a little weird. The mind is on a huge delay when it comes to accepting weight loss. I hope the mindset goes away, but I think it will need some time and some work.
btw - I've lost 3 inches from my calves. I think its time you should get out the measuring tape!!!

I really started noticing the saggy skin at about 9-10 months. It isn't really bad but it is there. Alittle on the arms and belly. Nothing a little lift wouldn't takecare of but I agree with Susanf48 I didn't do this to be a stripper, but clothes do cover it rather nicely. I'll deal with a little loose skin unless I decide to go for a lift which I'm not quite sure about.

I think loose skin also depends on if you have stretch marks or not on your tummy. I have loads of stretch marks and after loosing 100 pounds i notice that the stretch marks look all caved in and stuff.
I have the same caved in look anywhere i have stretch marks so hopefully in the future i can have platic surgery.

I've lost 67 lbs so far, I'll be 7 weeks out on Wednesday. My belly is sagging some, and I don't know if anyone else has this happening.............but.........I keep getting a rash in the crease of the leg where the belly hangs a bit.
Not alot just a little hanging belly.......if anyone has had this, what have they done for it. I keep using Gold Bond Powder, but would love a better cure.

I use a lot of baby diaper rash cream on my inner legs and under my apron skin. It works awesome, it protects if there is no rash, and it heals if there is. Also keeps the moisture out and the skin rubbing too much. You don't have to glop it on, it rubs in pretty nicely and for me protects until I take a shower again. I've seen some more expensive creams that say they are specifically to prevent chaffing, but the regular diaper cream works better in my opinion.

I do have flags waving in the underarms, an apron, deflated , over-sized boobs, heading south more day by day, and just noticed this week, while shopping for smaller pants to wear, that my inner thighs have that crepe look I HATE. What are you going to do. As has been said, surgery could correct that (in time for me, as I'm still losing), but HOW much surgery does one want to have done, or can they afford, if that's a concern?
I am not sure, to be honest how much "fixing" I'll do. I do appreciate taking up less space already. Down almost 100# at 6 1/2 months. I guess it's been most of my adult life that I've dealt with bulges, or hanging skin. It does feel different though, covering them up in clothing that is so much smaller. And, I guess, if I never had any further surgery done, it still would be worth it to be in this THESE clothes, and still losing. CIndy
