I would like to know your opinion on the Walmart Super Advanced Whey protein shakes vs the ones the docs recommend... I bought 2 of the ones from walmart and it has 68g per 2 scoops of protein the sugar is 3g carb is 8g.. is this ok for those who have tried them all please tell me your thoughts.. I am on a real strict budget so I was able to get 2 different flavors as only one of the Isopure, and others the doc recommends.. and just don't want to spend alot of money till I know what I like... Is this ok to start out with?? I will be taking my vitamins that is recommended...

I started out on the Walmart brand on the recommendation of my nutritionist actually. I managed to use the one container I bought, but tired of it as I went through the container. However, it did serve the purpose for me at that time, and that's what it's all about...you don't have to stay on them forever, so if you can manage it, enjoy. It is half the price of some of the others.
If taste does bother you, I encourage you try see if your GNC store may carry Max Protein, distributed by SEI pharmaceuticals. I have to order mine online,a nd there is a $10 shipping fee (approximately), so it can be very expensive. Cindy

As far as I'm concerned they are as good as any other brand I've tried. I never liked any of them. the best results I had was mixing with fat free milk, a little fruit or flavoring and ice..it was almost like a shake that way.
