... make and keep my New Year's resolution for 2010! I hadn't really given it a lot of thought until posting my new (revised) goal. (I'm not sure how to delete the other ones :-( )
I've always made the resolution to get healthier, which would help losing weight, but with 3 months of practicing, I think I can actually do it this time! LOL!

There seems to be a bunch of us who are on the verge of ONEderland, I hope alllllll of us are going into the New Year not seeing a 2 as a leading number! We CAN do it!

Love and hugs to all,
Peggy

" Well darlin, I had given up making resolutions because no matter what I tried, the weight always came back. I'm so happy for you, and I know you'll be so proud on Jan 1 when the scale reads under 200!

" Well I have a long ways to go before I hit onederland. So I doubt it will be for New Years, but by spring.
Last year my New Year's resolution was to go after and hopefully have GBS this year.........so I made my resolution. Thank you for reminding me of that.
This year, what will I do to top that one.
Good luck and Congrats to all. I can't wait to meet you all in Onederland. "

" Yesterday at my 12 week check up I was at 214. The first of the year I was @ 278 & was 255 @ surgery. Now that it was mentioned, yeap, I was wanting to have GBS done this year, so I actually made and kept a New Year's resolution! Thanks for reminding me kfletcher!
The past few weeks/month have been a mess with a lot of emotional situations: good, bad and the ugly! LOL I'm learning to deal with situatoins in a better way than turning to food. I'm glad I'm still in my the toddler stage of this (I figure I'm beyond the infant stage @ 3months!) because my body will rebel and not give me much of a choice!
-AND- if the scales don't get down to 199 (or below) by New Year's day, it'll all still be good, because I know that I am so much healthier than I have been most of my life! I'm learning new and healthier ways to live and I have the rest of my life to lose more weight and keep getting more healthy in my life and life choices.
Must get the g'kiddos down for a nap because Mim (me) is tired! LOL "

" Good for you Peggy. Goals are great when we meet them. Resolutions also.
I hope you make that 199, but if not like you say you are healthier and will get there.
I've had alot of bad days lately, but try to remind myself that the weight will come off, and by next summer, I should be skinny. Boy is that crazy to think of at this point. "
