I love bonfires, campfires...ahhh fall is the best time of year!!! :)

We only have bonfires at home. Although since my surgery I can't stand the smell of smoke yet. I hope that goes away, cause I'm missing out on the fires every weekend.
The smell bothers me so much, I can't stand it when someone comes in from outside, I tell them they stink like fire, and I just can't take it. Not in a rude way of course. I do have to make my hubby shower when he comes in though, the smoke smell bothers me that much, and I used to love it.

OMG you made me think of the times I went camping with my church, it would be in the summer and again in the fall. We would have the biggest campfire, you could say it was probably as big as a bonfire. We all would sit around singing and roasting marshmallows. Boy do I miss those days!! I think the camp sites we went to have long since closed and the Pastor who would take us just passed away in June. Too bad we couldn't of had a reunion, just to see all our old friends that we lost contact with.

Just wondering Frenchy what is bonfire toffee? Is it like S'mores in the US?
