Hi everyone, I got my surgery date today! I've been reading posts since Saturday, but my daughter had to show me how to post. I'm really excited, just like all of you, I did the research, jumped the hoops and finally I'm getting to the beginning of my new life. I'm a little scared too, but reading the messages you send, I know I'm doing the right thing. Thanks for listening! Patricia

After I got my surgery date, everyone would ask me "are you excited or nervous"? I said a little of both, it would come and go but now 2 1/2 weeks post-op, I can say it wasn't near as bad as my mind thought it would be. I'll be going back to work Monday and can't believe those 3 weeks flew by so quickly....Once it's over, you'll be so happy with your decision.

Hi Patricia, I am new too! I just had my first appointment with my primary care doctor. With it being the military tricare I am not sure how it is all going happen. But there are no doctors in New Mexico that they cover so I will have to go to El Paso Tx, Denver Colorado, or Phoenix Arizona. Good luck with your surgery.
