anyone tracking daily calories?

I'm on the plateau trend again, ugh. The 5 day pouch test didn't even help. I'm frustrated - so what else is new!
I'm averaging about 600-700 calories per day and my dietician suspects I'm not eating enough. Anyone have an idea of daily caloric intake for GBS loss????
Thanks everyone.

" My nutrionist didn't say any thing about calories . I had GBS May 18th loast 20lbs when i went for 1 month ck up but DR thought I should lose more . Said 60 to 80 grams of protein which 10grams about size of deck of cards . I don't think I'll ever be able eat that much but mixing Protein powder in yogurt has helped plus there's protein licquid about size of medicine cup that has 40 grams protein.Uping the protein should help and water 64 plus. Don't know when surgery was but was told first 8 to 12 month you lose most weight and after that Its alot harder but call your nutritionist that what we are paying them all this money. Good Luck "

" Depends on how far out you are. The literature I use indicates that 600-700 calories is on the low side unless you are less than 3 months out. You could try edging it upwards incrementally to 1000 calories/day and see how that works for you. "

" I'm at week 12 post surgery now (but due to multiple strictures, I've only been eating solids for about 1 month). I'll try increasing my calories a bit, but I think I'm ok in the protein dept. I'm exercising quite a lot though, most days I'm doing 7-8 miles on the treadmill but this afternoon my husband and I went on a real long walk (10 miles). I did great, it was dog that got exhausted!!!! "

" My Nut told me to keep it between 1000-1200 calories per day but that I could aim for the 1200 calories since I workout. I think you're not eating enough and your body is hitting starvation mode. Do you track your calories and exercise manually or do you use a computer based program? Try using the daily plate at www.livestrong.com that's what I use and it works great. "

" i just seen the nut last week and she said that i didnt need to worry about counting calories or carbs or anything but protein. she said at this point you dont eat enough of anything to have to count the calories or carbs. but i am on 14 weeks out too. i guess it could depend on how far out you are. " i was told to keep it from 800 to 1000 calories my daily needs for protein are 85-95 so I am always at 1000 or slightly above unfortunatly. But they told me 1000 is probably the ideal to shoot for, long term "
