I found Muscle Milk at Sam's yesterday. It is Lactose free, no sugar added, 100 calories. There is 15g of protein in 8.25 ounces. The chocolate tastes really good pre-op, does anyone use this post op? Just wondering...

" Yes, I've had it and it's very good. I agree, the chocolate is yummy. I want to try the powdered version, I'm hoping it's as good as the RTD. "

" I would advise anyone to not buy a lot while pre-op. Things taste differently before. I bought in bulk some and found they tasted awful when post-op. Needless to say I have a lot of money invested in proteins I could not stand post-op. Best to try after so as not to waste money. Good luck........ "

" No , I haven't tried muscle milk. I did get carnation noadded sugar bottles from WAlmart I could only drink 2oz. I like the powdered proteins cause I can mix with Yogurt which works better for me than liquids. You taste buds change after surgery I had eas Protein shakes I'd bought before surgery and could barely drink onecarton and rest are in the refrigerator 7wks after surgery. Ask Nutriionist for samples to try aftr surgery so you aren't wasting money. Good Luck "

" I just found some Muscle Milk at my local market...they are starting to carry more and more things that I would need (Isopure, etc). Anyway, my daughter and i bought one chocolate and one vanilla. She wanted to taste them both so we opened them when we got home. They were both very good....they tasted like they had a lot of sugar but they don't....I hope I like them after surgery. "
