On one of these support groups someone said they were taking a liquid iron that was really good. I didn't write the name down and of course I forgot it. If anyone know what it is please let me know

I can tell you that Ferrous Sulfate liquid isn't well absorbed post-op. I was put on that by my family doc and my surgeon's office found out at a check-up and she told me it isn't highly absorbed and put me on Vitron-C, a prescription iron pill, and now my iron levels are normal. So a heads up that OTC ferrous sulfate isn't well absorbed post-op. Thought I'd let you know what I learned. :)
