It was one month ago today I had my sleeve surgery. I had my one month post op apt today with my surgeon. They said the incisions look good. Some of my labs from Monday were in and she said they looked good but the albumin (sp?) was low but that is due to me not getting enough protein in and the nut. will work with me on that and vitamin issues I am still having. I have lost 18 pounds since my surgery. I weighed 223 on surgery day morning and today I weigh 205. Close to onederland! I asked them about me not loosing as much weight and they said not to worry I am still healing and with me not getting many calories in I might be in starvation mode or a plateau. I go back in three months to see the surgeon again and have labs done again.
I see the nut. tommorrow and am going to ask her what to do since I dry heave 30 minutes after taking the multi vitamin capsule (tried again this morning and heaved for 5 minutes..UGH!) and the calcuim citrate problem also. The last two days I have gotten in almost 500 cals so that is better.
This month has gone by fast!

" Good going Pam. You have answers now and thats reassuring. It was informative to me as well so thank you for sharing all that! I thought I was auditioning on here for the SLOWEST LOSER....grins

Pam, I chew two VITACRAVES Gummies with Omega 3 DHA one in the morning and one at dinner time. Bayer makes Citrical Calcium Gummies with D3 and I chew 4 of those a day. Its Critrate not calcium. I got at Wal Mart as well. Since your having a hard time getting pills down. I called the pharmacy as to which of my meds could be crushed or broken to help swallow them. My prilosec I open and mix with pudding or applesauce.

Shes going to help you. Sorry about the heaves..those are awful!

Leaves you a HUG "
