Post-Op - Retaining Water
Watch this
View More Posts Ignore
I'm almost 2 months post-op and I feel like I'm retaining a lot of water. I'm drinking well over 70oz per day and can gain up to three pounds between the time I wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night. Any ideas on why this is happening and how I can pee all of this out?

I'm also experiencing a little bit of tingling in my extremeties (feel like my circulation isn't as good as it used to be), and have been spotting for close to two weeks. Could all that be related?

Last, I'm going in for surgery next week to have my gallbladder removed. I don't the water retention is a symptom of that at all, but just wanted to give all the facts in case anyone has experienced any of the same.

" Hormones could be doing this, or it could be a consequence of some medications. I suggest that you talk with your physician. The tingling in your extremeities is a bit worrisome. :) "

" I use cranberry extract. One dropper full in a little water a couple of times a day keeps everything flowing out. I get mine from Super Supplements. "

" I always gain about three pounds from morning to evening. I think that can be pretty normal. Check with your dr. if you are concerned. I think as we lose the body readjusts and things can hurt and tingle as they go back into place and circulation changes a bit. "
