Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group

Wow I feel like its been months since I've been on here...ok...it's been a month or so but I've been a busy momma!!

I am almost 4 months post op and I am only 28 pounds away from my goal weight. My weight loss has slowed drmatically but I've gone from pushing out of a size 18 to a comfortable 12!!! I've even been able to buy some cute trendy things from the junior section!! And...OMG...panties from Victoria Secret! (yeah i know...TMI)

This week was spring break for my kids and I did things I wouldn't imagined of doing a year ago! My husband and I took our kids to Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA which was so much fun! Last year there is no way I would have worn a bathing suit in front of all those people or been able to trek up flight after flights of stairs to go down the water slides over and over again! Or hop on a boogie board and ride the current on the surfing thing. We did this for eight hours straight for two days!!

I am truly blessed with a super amazing supportive husband who helps push me and keep me in check! Thank you for those of you who follow me and encourage me through myfitnesspal!!
