i have to have balloon inserted on 12th november 2009 to lose al least 5 BMI points about 35 lbs but have heard horror stories about the balloon
can anyone give me the true picture please, i have bypass in april 2010
after waiting for 7 years, so i would appreciate any advice.

this is my first attempt at a support group you look like a great bunch

" I am sorry, but I am not familiar with that practice here, in my area. They encouraged us to use a high protein, low carb type diet weeks before surgery, but don't know of anyone that has the balloon inserted and inflated. Having said that, there are many different approaches to this whole procedure...so keep inquiring. But may be common practice in your area.
