BTW I am adding this after I realized that there are people out there who are going to take this personally...but feeling superior is a character flaw of mine...I understand this and this story is ironic and a little self depricating to point out the obvious...I am not superior!

Well my visit to my daughters' has been interesting. Everyday having been punctuated at each end by either the inflation, or deflation of a queen sized blow up mattress. Had I realized the extent to which this giant air bag would haunt me I would have punctured it on days ago.

Ever have that edgy, kinda hyper-like you might jump outta your skin (though you don't have the energy or ambition)-no matter what you think about your mind keeps returning to your next meal/snack/trip to the store or ff place on the way home.... when the only thing you do know for sure is that you want to EAT SOMETHING? Had a funny thing happen tonight. It goes to show you how much I have changed. We are doing a play at church. They made up 8X10 pictures of the cast members of which I am one. I was looking for mine and looked right over it. I saw it and went right past it. I didn't even recognize myself. How weird is that. So I'm home from my holidays.
We left the snow behind in Michigan and had a splendid time cruising the Western Caribbean.
Now as many of you know I don't sleep very much so I was often up really early.
I made a habit of taking my ipod and watching a movie at about 4am each morning.
My favorite movie watching spot was the "Viking Crown Lounge" right at the top of the ship.

Our family is in the middle of a short staycation, doing things we can do on day trips to save money. Yesterday we traveled up to the Olympic Game Farm and fed some yak, bears, horses, peacocks, deer, elk.
The Yak are the funniest.... when you give them the food they often belch. And the horses would become your best friend once they see the treats, sticking their heads in the car windows.
