Hi 'am a compulsive gambler 'and like the 'saying 'Only Hams are Cured. lol.
Since am not a Ham ; but like to ham it up sometimes am not 'cured of this 'addiction to 'wagering. Getting to the 'title of my Discussion. 'When I finally got honest with my spouse. When I 'realized that no 'bet could be done singularly, it had to be repeated . I knew 'I could not place , think or lay a bet down Anymore. It took what it took . IN telling my spouse allllllllllll , I 'set up a Roadblock. He knew, I knew. No more games. No more antics , no more lies, no more behaviours to outwit him . IN coming to terms with my disease , I 'found by telling him, I 'was committing myself to 'get well. But before I could do this I had to be 'Defeated inside. Debt outside. It took a long time 'coming to that Place. I Knew once I 'was totally honest < I would have to quit. I tried a zillion ways to find a control over gambling. I did not want to quit. Before IT ended , I made more damage. believing I could erase , slate clean all would be well. It never came to be.. The only thing that 'came to be was ..AWAKENING TO ''I CAN'T .. ANYMORE. So ''I owned up , suited up 'reached out for help , and have not looked back. 'Try Again.. Whatever it takes. ONe Day it Happens. When I don't know for YOU. Am not God anymore.. lol.
