The past few days have been terrible....itching, itching, just itching to go to the casino. Just for a little while....no...no...don't go!! Find something to do....do something fun. But I like gambling! It is fun! no. no. no. It might be fun on the way to there....but its always sad and depressing when you leave. I just needed to vent....The urge is so strong.

So sorry you are feeling that itch. Do not scratch it. Try journalling here more to stop the itch...write it all down, get it out...even if you end up deleting it all, let yourself dump,vent, whatever. I agree with Sandra, limit your access to cash and that will definitely help.

Your little itch.... it's NOT fun...not at all! It's AWFUL....to be the spouse on the receiving end of your little itch. Think about the tears your selfishness causes when you disappear off the radar....think about how someone who truly loves you might AGONIZE in silence wondering why your love of gambling and money is greater than your concern for his or her heart! Damn it.....stop looking at this as YOUR little annoying itch. Think of those who HURT because of this selfish, stupid obsessive behavior. Sorry to be so blunt...but your post made me think how truly CLUELESS most gamblers are about how they really HURT others. Go home....thank God that you have family that still loves you and wants you.....and take them out fishing or go for an ice cream or something. Don't forget the path of destruction your gambling leaves behind it. Gambling is NOT fun....it HURTS beyond words. Cantervilleghost

Hi extraction, please don't go. I made that mistake too many times with that itch and come out without a penny left. You know that feeling of shooting yourself in the foot afterwards. The money in your pocket now is money won.

Stay strong. It's hard at firs tto even remember what you used to enjoy doing before gambling. Stay out of the casino and it will come back to you along with your ability to like yourself again.
It sounds dumb, but i was a slot player. Now I really enjoy plaing this video game I bought online called Bejeweled 2. It was only $19.95 and I've spent hours playing it. You might look for an inexpensive diversion you can download that has to do with skill rather than games of chance. There's lots out there and they are a harmless way to spend alone time when you don't feel like doing chores or reading.
