" I am a gambling addict as well. This is a good step you are making. Keep with it.

I wish I would have kept with it after making this discovery. I had a relapse this weekend and am struggling to find any bit of respect for myself that I can muster. I know that I have let everybody around me down, now all I can do is live day to day.

I will not gamble today. "

" I have also finally admitted defeat. I have given all what small amount of money remains to my wife and I have banned myself for life from my favorite poker site. I have also been attending GA meetings for the past 3 days. I don't think I could do it without the GA meetings. "

" I have tried to quit many times before. This time feels different from the others. Now I am actively visiting and posting on forums such as this one. Just connecting with CGs is a relief.

Today was Day Three to wards sobriety. My first goal is to reach 14 days and then go from there.

I know exactly what you are going through. Keep visiting and posting on this forum. "
