As your thoughts become more clear, consider the fact that the ultimate goal might not be to quit gambling. Maybe the ultimate goal is to make that change in character. Being an honest, caring, and dependable human being is an insulation from all addictions. Gambling, drinking, drugs, sex, etc, etc, etc. When our character changes, we become very powerful and can change our lives and lead. Food for thought.

So true! I agree! Our character is comprimised by adictions. We will feel better about everthing in our lives when we improve and our character changes for the better!

Hi Bbird - I definitely agree that we become "different people" when we gamble. I think of me being the Freudian "ID" character with the reptilian brain taking control. Thank goodness that's not the "real me".
