Today I have been GF 100 days!!!!!
The days have been adding up and I almost forgot that I had hit the 100 mark. A very good feeling not to be focussing ALL the time on gambling. That is not to say I am not working on recovery every single day. I am and it takes it out of me for sure - exhausting but worth more than a work out!

It was nice to go grocery shopping for me and the wife yesterday after work. It was pay day and normally when I was in action I would hit the horses first, run to the grocery store before it closes and buy the most basic stuff I need.

Hair - it's a funny thing that can make or break how we feel about ourselves in the morning - good hair days and bad I have had them all. It's funny but our appearnace is often one of those things that gets left when we are stuck in addiction. I know it was for me - no money for hair when it could be money to mess about with.

Hi all, I am a newcomer here today and am happy to have found this site. Am struggling with life in general due to catching up following another slip. Good evening all!
What a great day! We went to lunch at place I saw on The Food Channel’s “Dive-In, Diners and Dives”. It was great. It’s just a little, old, dingy, hold-in-the-wall bar but the food was something else!
