" It was very informative. Just to see the devastation that is possible. My wife watched it with me. Makes me realize how much worse it could be if I don't stop. I was always the type that needed to take a bankroll with me but the one lady she had $900,000 and still couldn't win. It doesn't matter how much you have it all ends the same...I realize that more now than ever. "

" I watched the Intervention special on A&E and wondered how many people might look at it, as an (I'm not that bad) situation.
I honestly did not know that you could go to treatment for gambling. But what I do know is that I too get that high feeling when I enter a casino, which leads only to the depths of suicide when I leave. Always broke. I too know what it feels like to miss family gatherings, only to regret it later.
I too know how it feels to be in debt so far that you can't imagine how to ever catch up.
So, I choose for today, not to enter that evil space in my mind, that allows me to gamble.
It is an evil thing! An addiction without any boundries.
I wish every gaming building would go out of business and let us all get back to our lives as mothers, fathers, sister, brothers and children. "

" I had an opportunity to look at the program last night and of course I saw so many similar instances that I could relate to. I would leave work early on payday to gamble or just take the day off because I wanted to go gamble first thing. When you see how bad the addiction can be it is embarrassing and scary. I am glad I watched the program. "
